Escalation Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own high-severity technical escalations as the final tier before core engineering.
- Diagnose complex container storage incidents and conduct initial GoLang code reviews to maximize customer uptime.
- Collaborate with Product Development to identify root causes, submit bug fixes, and deliver permanent product resolutions.
- Coach and mentor Technical Services Engineers through paired troubleshooting and knowledge creation.
- Publish knowledge-base articles and FAQs to reduce mean time to resolution.
- Analyze telemetry and field trends to identify systemic vulnerabilities and inform product and engineering improvements.
Requirements
- Eight years of customer-facing technical support experience.
- Deep expertise supporting Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, container orchestration platforms, and distributed storage architectures.
- CKA-level expertise across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Code-level troubleshooting ability in GoLang.
- Experience with DevOps automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong customer-facing communication and high-stakes incident leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority investigations concurrently and participate in an on-call rotation.
