Responsibilities
- Deliver standard Red Hat OpenShift and cloud-native solution implementations while managing customer expectations.
- Act as the technical solution lead for delivery projects and define goals and execution tasks in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Explain project architecture, container strategies, and enterprise Kubernetes designs to technical and business stakeholders.
- Lead Discovery Sessions and partner with account teams to develop delivery approaches for business opportunities.
- Communicate project status and technical architecture to management and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor peers and junior associates, conduct technical screening assessments, and participate in internal Promotion Panels.
- Maintain current industry knowledge and provide consistent Red Hat messaging across client and internal communications.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, container security, and cloud-native architecture.
- Deep understanding of OpenShift operators, GitOps, Pipelines, Service Mesh, Observability, and OpenShift Platform Plus management, security, storage, and registry tools.
- Working knowledge of related Red Hat products such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation, Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh, or Advanced Cluster Management.
- Experience addressing sophisticated security requirements and working with software-defined storage such as OpenShift Data Foundation or Red Hat Ceph Storage.
- Scripting and automation experience using Ansible, Python, Perl, or Shell scripts.
- Client-facing consulting or technical architecture experience designing and delivering enterprise container solutions.
- Experience leading Discovery Sessions and collaborating with pre-sales and sales teams on delivery approaches.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, delivery-task definition, goal-setting, and technical mentorship skills.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration/Application Development or higher is preferred, or the willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Full legal authorization to work in Australia is required; TALM and ZTP experience is highly regarded.
