Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, configure, and deploy ServiceNow solutions for enterprise Core Network Services requirements.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow data models, CMDB structures, CI relationships, dependencies, and documentation.
- Develop JavaScript scripts, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, platform APIs, and scoped applications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring tools and network systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and related technologies.
- Create workflow automation with Flow Designer and orchestration logic for incident response, change control, and operational processes.
- Improve CMDB quality through Discovery, Service Mapping, ITOM alignment, data remediation, and relationship mapping.
- Develop Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration Management workflows aligned with ITIL v4 and operational requirements.
- Create dashboards, KPIs, analytics, and leadership reporting capabilities.
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, release notes, test results, and operational support procedures.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to VA personnel and support escalations or major incidents as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.
- Hands-on experience developing ServiceNow solutions involving scripting, integrations, CMDB, workflows, ITOM, and Discovery is required.
- Experience with Flow Designer, MID Server, Service Mapping, and enterprise CMDB maintenance is required.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow APIs, scoped application development, and ServiceNow architecture is required.
- Experience supporting Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration Management workflows is required.
- Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, routing and switching, load balancing, and monitoring tools is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support multi-vendor, cross-discipline engineering teams are required.
- ServiceNow Developer or Architect certification, ITIL v4 certification, federal agency or enterprise infrastructure experience, and familiarity with NIST, TIC 3.0, RMF, CMDB normalization, Discovery troubleshooting, and Service Mapping integration are preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability and complete onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility.
- US citizenship is not required.

- Remote role with telecommuting options listed as hybrid; scheduled for 40 hours per week with less than 10% travel.
