Base Salary
$130k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services in Python for sensor data processing on Azure.
- Architect cloud infrastructure for high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and release processes.
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams to integrate software with physical sensor systems.
- Define software architecture decisions as a foundational team member.
- Mentor engineers as the team grows.
- Travel periodically to other offices and customer sites.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems in cloud environments, preferably Azure.
- Track record of building and supporting production systems, including on-call experience.
- Proficiency with modern engineering practices such as git, unit testing, CI/CD, and code review.
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) for access to controlled technology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
