Base Salary
$383k - $527k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build advertising technology supporting Roku’s advertising business.
- Develop reporting tools and processes for advertising channels including The Roku Channel.
- Work with internal and external customers to support advertising goals through specialized systems.
- Establish continuous integration and continuous delivery practices across the advertising organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines for collecting and transforming data.
- Build robust reporting solutions with engineering teams and cross-functional business partners.
- Own the technology stack for services from user interface through infrastructure and deployment.
- Participate in architecture discussions, influence product roadmaps, and take ownership of new work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive experience in the position or a related occupation.
- At least one year of experience shipping production code in a scripting language such as Python and an object-oriented language such as Java.
- At least one year of experience with exploratory data analysis using SQL and digital advertising platforms, technologies, and systems.
- At least one year of experience with Hive/Hadoop, Apache Spark, distributed and NoSQL databases, big data processing frameworks, OLAP systems, and data pipeline orchestration systems.
- At least one year of experience building REST services in frameworks and using managed services from cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
