Responsibilities
- Build and prototype full-stack AI and agentic applications on Cloudera for enterprise use cases.
- Partner directly with strategic customers to advance AI initiatives from early prototypes to production readiness.
- Advise customer leaders on AI roadmaps, use-case prioritization, deployment considerations, and business alignment.
- Create reusable reference architectures, productized solutions, starter kits, and internal playbooks.
- Mentor Cloudera teams, contribute to AI capability development, and relay customer and field feedback to Product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems, including 2–3 years building generative AI or agentic applications.
- Strong hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills with experience building full-stack AI or agentic systems.
- Experience with foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices including evaluation, observability, serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Experience designing scalable AI solution architectures aligned with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Ability to engage technical and executive customer audiences and translate needs into actionable technical strategy.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloudera, open-source big data technologies, or AI infrastructure is beneficial.
- Experience with Spark, Iceberg, NiFi, NVIDIA GPUs, inference optimization, model serving, or distributed AI workloads is beneficial.
