Responsibilities
- Build and prototype full-stack AI and agentic applications on Cloudera for enterprise use cases.
- Partner directly with strategic customer technical and executive teams to move AI initiatives from prototype to production readiness.
- Advise customers on AI roadmaps, use-case prioritization, deployment considerations, and business alignment.
- Design scalable AI solution architectures that meet enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Codify successful solutions into repeatable reference architectures, productized solutions, starter kits, and internal playbooks.
- Mentor Cloudera teams, contribute reusable tooling and enablement resources, and relay customer and field feedback to Product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems, including 2–3 years building generative AI or agentic applications.
- Strong hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills with experience building full-stack AI or agentic systems.
- Experience with foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and agentic workflows.
- Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices including evaluation, observability, serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Experience designing scalable enterprise AI architectures aligned with security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Ability to engage directly with technical and executive customer audiences and translate needs into technical strategy.
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving customer environments and enable others through mentorship or reusable tooling.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, the Cloudera platform, Spark, Iceberg, NiFi, NVIDIA GPUs, inference optimization, model serving, or distributed AI workloads.
