Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Act as the primary software lead for Pixel Software on new silicon programs, driving end-to-end software readiness, execution, and risk mitigation across pre- and post-silicon milestones.
- Drive software readiness to achieve production-stack Boot-to-Home on early silicon.
- Partner with emulation and simulation teams to define software requirements and deliver stable platforms for early development.
- Lead wafer and Silicon on Desk bring-up in the lab.
- Deliver Configuration Data Table, partition tables, hardware documentation, and Flashstation/flashing tooling support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred experience with architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP, Linux device drivers, and Linux kernel modules.
- Preferred experience in firmware development, including RTOS and bare-metal systems.
