Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and code automation for auditable failover and recovery workflows.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code, scripts, and pipelines using tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Build self-healing patterns, health checks, and automated recoverability validation.
- Assess architectures for reliability, redundancy, and recoverability and support SLI, SLO, error-budget, RTO, and RPO objectives.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery tests, fault-injection exercises, and chaos experiments.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability for early detection of service degradation.
- Facilitate resiliency reviews, tabletop exercises, and cross-team recovery walkthroughs.
- Provide reliability engineering expertise and produce examiner-ready documentation aligned with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or technology operations.
- Hands-on coding and automation experience with tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Working knowledge of both on-premises infrastructure and public cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
- Understanding of high-availability design, including redundancy, replication, failover, and load balancing.
- Strong facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with SRE principles, service-level management, disaster recovery, resiliency testing, chaos engineering, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, observability tooling, ServiceNow, regulated industries, and relevant technical certifications.
Benefits
- Base salary eligibility is $63,000.00–$96,000.00 annually, plus potential incentive compensation; compensation figures are excluded from benefit details.
