Responsibilities

  • Deploy, install, configure, and support FabGuard monitoring systems across semiconductor tool groups and customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot FabGuard software, hardware, Windows systems, PCs, cabling, connectivity, and data discrepancies.
  • Create FabGuard recipes and data analyses for Fault Detection and Classification.
  • Configure data acquisition parameters and support integration projects using industrial protocols.
  • Test and validate software updates in industrial and manufacturing environments.
  • Coordinate with customer process engineering and equipment teams on equipment readiness, logistics, and site status.
  • Train customers and contractor teams, document site-specific configurations, and provide cross-coverage for field colleagues.
  • Report site status, escalate risks, and identify application, process, and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in electronics, automation, industrial systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of Windows installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and OEM equipment, including lithography, PVD, and CVD technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of vacuum pump and abatement system operation.
  • Ability to test and validate software in industrial and manufacturing environments.
  • Comfort working in cleanroom environments and complying with cleanroom procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for direct customer stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Prior semiconductor fabrication experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OPC-UA, SECS/GEM, and Modbus TCP is a plus.
