Responsibilities
- Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB.
- Advise customers on architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and the business value of MongoDB.
- Partner with sales teams on account planning, technical discovery, demonstrations, proof of value, presentations, sizing, documentation, and deal execution.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
- Build customer relationships, develop champions, and support customer success and satisfaction.
- Provide field feedback to the product team and mentor Solutions Consulting team members.
- Maintain product and industry expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of related industry experience, ideally including 2 years in a customer-facing role.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience reviewing complex application architectures and advising customers on improvements.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for explaining technical and business concepts to leadership.
- Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional sales team through the full deal cycle.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Preferred qualifications include major cloud-provider experience, technical pre-sales experience, database programming and data-model experience, data engineering or AI/ML project experience, knowledge of MEDDPICC or Command of the Message, MongoDB Certification, and cloud-provider certification.
