Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own technical customer engagement during pre-sales by building and presenting demos and creating pilot and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Design solutions by translating discovery findings into technical approaches involving APIs, integrations, emergency-response workflows, and customer products.
- Build customized technical presentations and demonstrations for clients and prospects.
- Partner with Account Executives on account strategies, value propositions, technical sales execution, and trusted-advisor relationships.
- Create documentation, specifications, and statements of work that translate customer requirements for Product and Engineering.
- Assess scope, feasibility, and technical risk and collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve challenges.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Public Safety teams to connect customer needs with delivered solutions.
- Use AI tools to prototype, solve customer problems, and improve team workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical customer-facing capacity such as implementation engineering, post-sales engineering, or sales engineering.
- Experience with complex API-based or SaaS products in pre-sales, post-sales, or implementation engineering contexts.
- Proficient programming ability in any language, such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript; Python is preferred.
- Experience deploying solutions through cloud platforms or containerization tools.
- Ability to work directly with clients and translate requirements into clear technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and executives and build trusted customer relationships.
- Self-motivated problem solver who can take ownership of ambiguous challenges in a fast-growing environment.
- Hands-on experience building with AI tools and an AI-forward approach to prototyping and problem solving.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Experience with telecommunications is preferred but not required.
