Responsibilities
- Lead large cross-functional projects from concept to launch.
- Run customer interviews to inform the team's roadmap.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
- Disambiguate complex problems and align diverse stakeholders.
- Implement system-level improvements and complex code modifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate capabilities across Reddit.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building production services at scale.
- Experience in the ads domain.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration.
- Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts.
- Ability to solve complex system scaling and latency performance problems.
- Strong proficiency in Go or Python, with experience in service frameworks and API design.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
