Responsibilities
- Lead the administration and optimization of Kafka-based data streaming infrastructure on AWS.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across Amazon MSK clusters.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to maintain a secure event streaming environment.
- Manage Kafka cluster setup, scaling, partitioning, replication, and monitoring.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform, for deployment and management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience managing Apache Kafka and/or Amazon MSK.
- 10+ years of professional experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proven expertise in Kafka cluster setup, scaling, and monitoring.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripting.
