Responsibilities
- Prepare the IBM OTMS order management system for integration with the future core banking system.
- Lead integration with secondary-market trading operations.
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance software modules within complex systems.
- Provide technical guidance to DevOps team members during implementation phases.
- Contribute to the Software Solutions strategy for the Order Management division.
- Develop and tune Oracle PL/SQL solutions and support Linux and Bash-based automation and operations.
- Work with messaging, financial standards, APIs, distributed deployments, architecture, non-functional requirements, and observability.
Requirements
- Experience with order management systems such as IBM OTMS, including order routing and capture.
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL 19+ development and performance tuning.
- Skilled in Linux environments and Bash scripting.
- Expertise in Java, .NET, or equivalent software development technologies, primarily to understand application context.
- Understanding of Kafka, IBM MQ, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with FIX and ISO 20022 financial messaging standards, including PAIN.
- Proficiency with RESTful Web APIs, XML, and JSON.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.x, TLS, and vulnerability assessments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Octopus; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of system architecture, non-functional requirements, design documentation, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of securities trading and primary- and secondary-market processes across multiple asset classes.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments and some practical experience using Bloomberg data for master data and pricing.
- Understanding of money-market transactions, payment processing, and agile methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and fluency in English.
