Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software using Java and Spring Boot or related Java technologies.
- Build and deploy solutions using CI/CD practices and automated deployment pipelines.
- Develop and automate infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders on secure, scalable solutions.
- Participate in planning, refinement, Agile ceremonies, and continuous delivery activities.
- Maintain software documentation, operational procedures, and development standards.
- Monitor and optimize Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management processes.
- Contribute to application, infrastructure, and engineering-practice improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing applications with Spring Boot or Java EE.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
- Understanding of security and risk principles applied to software development.
- Experience with Helm, Terraform, and Ansible or similar automation and orchestration tools.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional IT capability and ideally a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Nice-to-have qualifications include network and security environment knowledge, Python, Bash, PowerShell, AWS, Azure, or GCP experience.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, Scrum frameworks, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and autonomous end-to-end ownership is preferred.
