Responsibilities
- Perform systemization for Scheduler, Radio Physical Layer, and Radio Resource Management features.
- Specify 5G system features and functions, including requirements, test cases, algorithms, use cases, parameter settings, and legacy-feature interactions.
- Develop link-level and network-level software simulations for performance analysis.
- Improve products, simulation tools, and development processes.
- Support system verification and analyze test results against operator KPIs.
- Support deployment of 5G and 6G products and features into customer networks, including customer troubleshooting and issue analysis.
Requirements
- Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing.
- Solid understanding of LTE and NR 3GPP specifications, particularly Physical Layer, Radio Resource Management, and Mobility.
- Experience developing software for link-level and network-level simulations using Java, C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- At least 5 years of System and Link Level Simulation experience or at least 10 years of telecom software development experience specializing in 5G L2 algorithm conceptualization, design, and development with strong L1 fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze results, multitask, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
- M.Tech. or Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics, or a related field, with academic credentials from recognized and accredited institutions.
