Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder discovery sessions, requirements workshops, gap analyses, process mapping, user-story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and functional specification development.
- Own the Salesforce enhancement backlog, including intake, triage, prioritization, delivery coordination, and traceability through releases.
- Determine whether requirements should be addressed with Salesforce configuration and Flow, custom Apex or LWC development, or integration changes.
- Administer Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, security controls, data governance, object models, record types, page layouts, and Dynamic Forms.
- Design, build, maintain, audit, and migrate Salesforce automation, including Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Scheduled Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder automation.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch, queueable, and schedulable jobs using bulkified enterprise patterns, and build Lightning Web Components and meaningful unit tests.
- Design, build, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware, and iPaaS tools.
- Plan and execute UAT, manage defect triage and sign-off, coordinate releases and deployments, and support change management and end-user training.
- Maintain Salesforce governance, Center of Excellence standards, sandbox and deployment strategy, documentation, org health monitoring, and technical-debt reduction.
- Act as a cross-functional escalation point for process conflicts, integration issues, troubleshooting, system support, and process improvement across multiple business units.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Salesforce experience spanning both functional/business-analysis work and hands-on development.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required and Platform Developer I certification required.
- Expert Flow Builder proficiency, including bulkification and sound Flow-versus-Apex decision-making.
- Strong Apex fundamentals, including trigger frameworks, asynchronous Apex, and governor-limit management.
- Proven Lightning Web Components experience.
- Demonstrated functional and technical Salesforce integration experience with REST/SOAP, middleware or iPaaS, or event-driven architecture.
- Experience supporting multiple departments on a shared, complex Salesforce org and strong knowledge of the enterprise Salesforce security model.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, stakeholder workshop, technical design review, communication, testing, and training skills.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, and Platform App Builder certifications are preferred.
