Base Salary

$140k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and own full-stack product features from data models and backend systems through customer-facing interfaces.
Collaborate with AI engineers and attorneys to translate legal workflows and review playbooks into production-grade software.
Make pragmatic architecture and tooling decisions balancing near-term speed with long-term maintainability.
Write reliable code and take complete ownership of software shipped to production.
Help define engineering culture, standards, and hiring practices as the team scales.
Prioritize customer experience and drive work through completion.

1 to 3 years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally at an early-stage company or as a founder.
Strong full-stack ability with TypeScript, React, a modern backend stack, and relational databases.
Hands-on experience building with AI or LLMs through professional or personal projects.
Experience owning features end-to-end from conception through production deployment.
Experience making pragmatic engineering trade-offs and architecture decisions under time pressure.
Product instincts, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity and minimal process.
Excellent judgment, communication skills, and a high standard for personal work.
Experience in legal tech, contract management, document processing, or working directly with domain experts is preferred.
Familiarity with modern DevOps, CI/CD, and production monitoring practices is preferred.
