Base Salary
$124k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain secure and scalable software solutions.
- Write high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, automation capabilities, code review, testing, release, and operational support practices.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Troubleshoot technical problems of basic complexity and contribute to production-system operational stability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in a data processing and production environment.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Python and SQL.
- Strong database fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including code review, testing strategies, release practices, and operational support.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and modern engineering practices.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud concepts and services.
