Responsibilities
- Administer, tune, and improve infrastructure security capabilities and tooling.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for IT infrastructure protection.
- Configure and manage firewalls, switches, network security devices, VMware vCenter, NSX, and NKP environments.
- Manage vulnerability identification, remediation follow-up, monitoring, security logging, and incident-detection alerts.
- Oversee identity and privileged access management and ensure authorized access to sensitive information.
- Develop Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripts and automation tools for security processes.
- Collaborate with SecOps and infrastructure teams on security controls, incident response, resource planning, and infrastructure scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role focused on managing and maintaining security solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in regulated environments requiring scripting and configuration-automation experience.
- Mandatory experience with Fortigate, Stormshield, VMware vCenter, NKP, NSX, Qualys, Contrast, HarfangLab, Active Directory, WALLIX, Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP is advantageous.
