Base Salary
$149k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with payments and fintech partners on initiatives across Meta’s products and services.
- Design, build, integrate, and launch end-to-end payment systems and solutions.
- Build and improve products with Meta product engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
- Diagnose complex cross-boundary issues, identify optimization opportunities, and maintain scalable capabilities.
- Translate partner and market feedback into product requirements and influence product roadmaps.
- Drive consensus on workflow and architecture changes and develop strategic plans grounded in business objectives.
- Serve as a domain expert, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and raise the technical bar.
- Represent Meta products, APIs, and tools in partner meetings and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a partner engineer, implementation engineer, software engineer, or in an equivalent role building and shipping production-quality code.
- Experience designing and architecting end-to-end systems and operating API-based integrations across organizational boundaries.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages and development frameworks.
- Experience shipping reliable, scalable, efficient, and maintainable code with documentation and test plans.
- Experience querying and analyzing large datasets to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and inform technical and product decisions.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience translating business needs into technical scope, delivering payments or financial technology solutions, and meeting compliance-driven requirements.
- Preferred experience in partner-facing or client-facing technical roles, presenting to senior audiences, working across markets or time zones, and contributing to developer-facing or platform documentation.
- Preferred experience with AI skill development, AI-assisted workflow and software development improvements, and responsible, ethical AI practices.
