Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, customize, and support Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault solutions, including PromoMats, eTMF, RIM, and Quality Docs/QMS.
- Design and maintain integrations between Veeva platforms and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Partner/Enterprise WSDL, and custom integration solutions.
- Write scalable Apex and Visualforce code and develop Vault customizations using the Vault Java SDK, Vault REST API, Vault Object Framework, and VQL.
- Build reusable libraries, optimize application performance, participate in code reviews, and ensure maintainable, standards-compliant implementations.
- Design cloud-native or cloud-scalable solutions using Azure or other cloud platforms to complement Veeva.
- Develop AI-driven document classification, metadata extraction, summarization, impact-assessment, and lifecycle-automation features using Vault AI services.
- Use Vault AI services, Vault Java SDK, and VQL to process quality documents, extract data into Vault Object records, and improve auto-tagging accuracy.
- Design and execute technical verification protocols for AI-generated outputs in accordance with GxP and computer system validation requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, engineering teams, data science teams, business excellence teams, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions comply with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, security, performance, and Veeva development standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years specializing in Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Veeva products and Veeva Vault, including document and object lifecycles, controlled document workflows, electronic signatures, dynamic security models, rendition profiles, and document type/subtype configuration.
- Experience with Veeva CRM configuration and customization, including page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, and process builders.
- Expertise developing Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, and client-side functionality for Veeva CRM.
- Deep experience with Vault Java SDK, Vault REST API, Vault Object Framework, VQL, custom actions, triggers, and job processors.
- Experience with Vault Direct AI API, Vault AI services, automated document classification, metadata extraction, AI summarization, and AI Smart Checklists.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and its integration with Veeva, plus experience with Veeva data migration tools and strategies.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Partner/Enterprise WSDL, and software integrations.
- Understanding of GxP standards, including GMP, GCP, and GLP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
- Experience with Git, object-oriented design, software architecture, code reviews, security roles, field-level security, data access, and performance optimization.
- Ability to deliver software components end to end, diagnose Veeva-specific problems, write robust software, and work in Agile development environments.
