Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable automation and observability platforms operating at national telecommunications scale.
- Drive technical initiatives from concept to production and make architectural decisions balancing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with network engineers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Solve complex problems across the full stack, including streaming data pipelines and AI-powered automation systems.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and technologies that improve team efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for critical production systems.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience building and shipping production software, preferably with Go and Python in complex technology environments.
- Hands-on experience with Linux environments, event streaming platforms such as Kafka, and real-time data processing is desirable.
- Experience with observability tools, CI/CD practices, databases, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC is a plus.
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain and PyTorch or workflow orchestration tools such as N8N and Temporal is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
