Responsibilities

  • Own the architectural vision and roadmap for a major functional domain as Domain Architect.
  • Define and evolve cloud-native architectures using microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Lead integration of AI/ML capabilities, including generative AI tools, model deployment, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Design secure and scalable systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP using cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
  • Implement observability with Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and ELK/EFK stacks.
  • Drive technical strategy across backend, frontend, data, AI/ML, DevOps, and GitOps technologies.
  • Mentor architects and senior engineers and collaborate with product, security, infrastructure, partners, and customers.
  • Participate in pre-sales and customer technical presentations and lead strategic vendor engagements.
  • Design, code, and configure high-impact solutions and conduct architectural reviews, threat modeling, and performance tuning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of software development experience, with 20+ years typical.
  • At least 12 years of product experience, with 15+ years preferred.
  • At least 12 years of domain experience, with 15+ years preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of object-oriented design, enterprise application architecture, C#, and associated frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of distributed software patterns, full-stack technologies, cloud platforms, and software security.
  • Proficiency in relational data storage, database design, query optimization, XML schema design, XPath, and XSLT.
  • Familiarity with the insurance domain and at least one Duck Creek product.
  • Experience with unit testing, source code management, estimation, root cause analysis, and managing work to deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent-work skills.
  • Ability to travel 0–25% and be legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
