Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to clients.
- Lead client discovery and assessment sessions.
- Evaluate cybersecurity architectures for feasibility and alignment with goals.
- Design and recommend cybersecurity solutions across client environments.
- Develop and deliver executive-ready presentations and technical documentation.
- Produce level-of-effort estimates and ensure delivery readiness.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Data teams for converged solutions.
- Partner with the Security Solutions practice to refine GTM strategy.
- Drive pipeline creation and growth through proactive client engagement.
- Build and maintain referenceable client relationships.
- Lead workshops, demos, and thought leadership sessions.
- Provide mentorship to regional architects and account teams.
- Contribute to Trace3’s market presence through public speaking and content development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3-5 years in a pre-sales or consulting role.
- Proven ability to evaluate and architect enterprise security solutions.
- Hands-on proficiency with modern security platforms.
- Strong understanding of adjacent technology domains.
- Demonstrated success in driving pipeline and supporting sales cycles.
- Exceptional executive communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience creating high-quality deliverables like architecture diagrams.
- Strong business acumen to connect security investments to business outcomes.
- Prior experience in a client-facing capacity within consulting or technology.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP or AWS/Azure/GCP Security Architect are highly desired.
