Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact projects and develop innovative solutions that improve user experience.
  • Lead large features from ideation through execution and launch.
  • Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations.
  • Share knowledge through brown bags and tech talks and promote appropriate engineering practices.
  • Unblock, support, and communicate with internal partners to achieve results.

Requirements

  • BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering or production infrastructure industry experience.
  • Experience designing, debugging, and operating fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience leading components from design through launch.
  • Proficiency with Go and Python is a strong plus.
