Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact projects and develop innovative solutions that improve user experience.
- Lead large features from ideation through execution and launch.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations.
- Share knowledge through brown bags and tech talks and promote appropriate engineering practices.
- Unblock, support, and communicate with internal partners to achieve results.
Requirements
- BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering or production infrastructure industry experience.
- Experience designing, debugging, and operating fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience leading components from design through launch.
- Proficiency with Go and Python is a strong plus.
