Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver AWS Marketplace features end-to-end from design through deployment, using generative AI where possible.
- Write high-quality, testable code and promote engineering best practices through code reviews and collaboration.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software systems.
- Solve platform scalability and performance challenges as AWS Marketplace grows.
- Provide operational support, identify root causes, and resolve production issues.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into architecture, designs, and working software with PMs, UX designers, and customers.
- Mentor other engineers, help define technical culture, and contribute to team growth.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience creating and managing web-based applications.
