Base Salary
$196k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and operate distributed data streaming platforms processing billions of events per day.
- Develop secure, performant, and reliable systems using Kafka, Flink, and Debezium.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, data, and ML teams to support diverse platform use cases.
- Build tools and documentation that improve the experience of internal developers.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with Kafka, Flink, and Debezium.
- Proficiency designing and implementing event-driven architectures and stream processing systems.
- Interest in platform engineering and creating strong developer experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams.
