Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality, performance, user experience, and compliance.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and modern testing frameworks and tools.
- Perform API, UI, functional, performance, and regression testing for complex technology solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders on requirements, design discussions, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed information to support defect resolution.
- Define and improve test automation architecture, design patterns, and metrics-driven QA processes.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, technology communities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or guide technical direction, coach less experienced specialists, and advise stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage and mitigate risks and strengthen controls related to the team’s work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in global QA delivery models.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, core Java test frameworks, and Selenium or modern UI automation tools.
- Experience with API testing, microservices, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of test automation architecture, design patterns, shift-left testing, and TDD/BDD practices.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and equity derivatives, including pricing, trading, and lifecycle processes.
- Understanding of structured products, pricing models, market data flows, and front-to-back trading systems.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, or Gatling is highly valued.
- Experience with test data management, synthetic data generation, AI/ML-driven testing approaches, or cloud-based testing platforms is valued.
- Familiarity with pricing validation techniques, regulatory and compliance testing, and metrics such as defect leakage, coverage, and automation efficiency is valued.
- Ability to provide strategic and analytical guidance, manage risks and controls, and coach technical specialists.
