Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated security guardrails and secure-by-default paved paths.
- Provide secure architecture and coding guidance to development teams during ideation and design.
- Build automated, continuous security assessment capabilities at business-unit scale.
- Contribute code for security fixes and paved-path solutions alongside developers.
- Build scalable, self-service security tools for security-risk identification and remediation.
- Design and implement preventive and detective security controls for continuous assurance.
- Help define long-term security strategy and participate in periodic security incident on-call rotations.
- Use AI tools and techniques to accelerate security assessments and automate threat detection.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks with command-line tools.
- 5+ years of experience identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
- 5+ years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages.
- Experience identifying industry-based security vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation techniques.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: experience with threat modeling or other risk-identification techniques or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience securing service-oriented architectures, microservices, and web services.
