Base Salary

$58k - $62k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Ship full-stack features with measurable product impact.
  • Refine ambiguous goals into iterative work items and help guide achievable sprint goals and delivery.
  • Provide substantive code reviews and architectural feedback.
  • Respond to production issues during working hours through triage, root-cause analysis, and preventive-measure recommendations.
  • Improve engineering tooling, AI-agent workflows, technical standards, and documentation.
  • Translate product requirements into technical approaches and communicate the reasoning.
  • Own work through request, shipment, monitoring, and production stability.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of website development experience using PHP and MySQL.
  • Advanced custom WordPress development experience, including data modeling and infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of semantic HTML, responsive CSS, modern design patterns, and web application architecture.
  • Experience building complex web applications that integrate with services and APIs.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of developer tooling, unit testing, relational databases, and REST APIs.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Laravel and AWS experience are preferred.
  • Ability to identify missing requirements, build performant and scalable backend systems, write resilient and testable code, and deliver sprint commitments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive environment and participate constructively in code reviews and feedback.
