Lead Agentic Data Systems Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build, maintain, enhance, and own production-grade data products end-to-end.
- Architect and maintain ecosystems of autonomous agents for ETL, synthetic data generation, automated QA, and predictive modeling.
- Design multi-step reasoning architectures, verification protocols, and governance-as-code for data pipelines and agentic development.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into production-ready data products with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain Model Context Protocol servers that securely connect agents to Snowflake, Salesforce, AWS, and internal data catalogs.
- Use AI agents to audit pipelines, investigate anomalies, retrieve technical knowledge, generate remediation proposals, and support analytical workflows.
- Build red-team and defensive systems that identify logic flaws and security vulnerabilities in other agents.
- Review agent-generated analyses, SQL, tests, assumptions, and recommendations before production deployment or business decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in high-stakes Data Engineering, Architecture, or Data Science.
- Production-grade proficiency in Python, dbt, Airflow, advanced SQL, Apache Spark, and Snowflake.
- Fluency with AI-native development environments such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code.
- Expertise in prompt engineering, agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, MCP servers, chain-of-thought prompting, self-correction loops, and iterative reasoning paths.
- Understanding of Salesforce Core and Data 360.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Mesh, Data-as-a-Product, Event-Driven Architectures, semantic layers, and knowledge graphs.
- Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless compute environments for agentic workloads.
- Documented use of generative AI to significantly accelerate personal and departmental output.
- Ability to manage end-to-end data strategy for a business unit with minimal supervision and identify subtle logic errors or hallucinations in agentic output.
- Strong analytical judgment and expertise in validating methods, assumptions, uncertainty, data quality, and security.
