Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure software solutions.
- Build and manage robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support digital solution delivery.
- Develop software using Java, Java EE, Apache Camel, Spring Boot, Struts, Spring MVC, and JPA.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, including multithreaded applications.
- Use Maven for builds and Git for version control.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technology communities.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and other business functions.
- Implement unit testing and contribute to reliable, readable, and high-quality code.
- Manage risks, strengthen controls, follow relevant policies and regulations, and support continuous improvement.
- Guide and support team members, coordinate resources, and advise stakeholders where applicable.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Core Java 21, Java EE, Apache Camel, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Struts, Spring MVC, and JPA.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and multithreading.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, Maven, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred experience with OpenShift v4, Kafka, JMS, and JUnit.
- Exposure to financial or trading applications is valued.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, resolve problems, influence decisions, and communicate complex or sensitive information.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate ownership of results, risk management, and controls.
