Responsibilities

  • Develop applications that comply with functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Construct unit test cases and contribute to software design and component development.
  • Create and maintain system documentation while following design and coding standards.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot applications as needed.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, architects, product managers, project managers, peers, and end users on technical designs and software solutions.
  • Apply software development methodologies appropriate to project needs and contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved ways of working.
  • Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience developing and supporting Spring Boot applications and REST APIs.
  • Understanding of Apache Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous processing.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL development, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Redis for caching, performance optimization, and distributed data storage.
  • Experience with Git and version-control best practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Preferred technical stack experience includes Java, SQL, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Kafka, Oracle, Redis, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
