Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build services and APIs using in-house and open-source technologies.
- Develop expertise in distributed architecture and drive infrastructure design for multiple product teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and CTO groups to deliver solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve live operational issues.
- Help teams plan, prioritize, and deliver complex technical projects.
- Build reliable, well-tested production software for low-latency, high-volume real-time data systems.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working with an object-oriented programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
- Background building reliable, well-tested software for production systems.
- Systems and API design skills and an understanding of compute, storage, and file-system concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and peer-influencing skills.
- Preferred experience with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CI/CD tools and processes, Linux environments, system administration, open-source contributions, or technical communities.
