Responsibilities
- Develop and debug embedded software and camera drivers.
- Design and implement drivers for camera vendor sensors including Sony, Aptina, and OmniVision.
- Work with MIPI-CSI-2, PHY, I2C/SPI, V4L2, FPDLINK serializer/deserializers, CVBS, and analog cameras.
- Implement video processing pipelines for playback, capture, transcoding, streaming, and voice calls.
- Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones using software development, debugging, source-control, IDE, and build tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years; or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
- Experience with embedded software or driver development, operating systems, camera interfaces, bus protocols, camera sensors, and video processing pipelines.
- Preferred experience includes Android, QNX, Embedded Linux, ARM assembly, camera imaging pipelines, video pre- and post-processing, computer vision, video analytics, and related debugging and development tools.
