Responsibilities
- Coach engineers through one-to-ones, pair programming, workshops, office hours, and cohorts on prompting, workflow design, and model and tool selection.
- Capture and propagate effective practices through guides, prompt libraries, troubleshooting playbooks, an internal AI knowledge base, and a skills registry.
- Build and support a network of embedded AI champions.
- Identify AI tooling blockers, aggregate feedback, and escalate systemic issues to leadership.
- Build internal AI integrations and reusable tooling with Node.js, TypeScript, and MCP from prototype through production, including access control, security review, and CI/CD.
- Evaluate AI tools, models, and internal integrations and provide actionable recommendations on tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and Codex.
- Define and track adoption and productivity metrics and build dashboards covering usage, assistant acceptance, PR throughput, cycle time, and change failure rate.
- Partner with security and compliance on guardrails and with GTM teams on field needs and adoption patterns.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping as a senior hands-on engineer in a product-driven environment.
- Strong full-stack background with proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript and working knowledge of relational and document databases.
- Deep hands-on fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and end-to-end AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience independently taking internal integrations from prototype to production, including design, authentication and authorization, deployment, security review, and CI/CD.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and agent-tooling protocols such as MCP.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompting, RAG, orchestration, agentic flows, and AI/tooling security.
- Strong teaching, facilitation, and technical-writing skills, including creating guides, workshops, and walkthroughs.
- Ability to influence without authority and coordinate with IT, DevOps, security, and GTM.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems autonomously and turn feedback into prioritized action.
- C1 English proficiency for written and verbal technical communication.
- Preferred: familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, edge or serverless compute, internal plugin or package registries, developer experience or advocacy, instructional design, technical workshops, hackathons, enablement programs, and distributed remote-first organizations.
