Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software products and platforms for semiconductor design automation, tapeout, and post-tapeout workflows.
- Develop software, AI, and machine-learning solutions to improve productivity, quality, reliability, predictability, and design reuse.
- Integrate commercial EDA tools through APIs and command-line interfaces into semiconductor design flows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation requirements and debug design-flow issues.
- Improve tool reliability, scalability, and software development practices.
- Support semiconductor tapeout schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop custom AI agents and MCP servers and host, operate, and scale web-based software tools.
- Set up and maintain Apache or similar web servers in on-premises Unix/Linux environments.
- Lead DevOps activities and support hybrid on-premises and cloud engineering platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong experience with React.js, Qt, Python, C++, Java, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
- Experience with workflow automation, machine-learning models, custom AI agents, and MCP servers.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, version control systems, and CI/CD software engineering and operations.
- Experience hosting applications on web servers and operating scalable web-based software tools in Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience setting up and maintaining Apache or similar web servers in on-premises environments.
- Comfort working in Linux and Windows environments and building secure-by-design software products.
- Experience or familiarity with at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
- Preferred experience includes semiconductor domain knowledge, large-scale EDA compute or regression infrastructure, and hybrid on-premises/cloud engineering platforms.
