Base Salary
$132k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
- Develop data models, metadata management frameworks, and catalog systems for enterprise-scale data discovery.
- Build and maintain microservices and APIs supporting search, data ingestion, and cross-service integrations.
- Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting for reliability, freshness, and governance compliance.
- Automate data onboarding and self-service capabilities to accelerate time-to-insight.
- Collaborate with product managers, BI engineers, business stakeholders, Finance teams, and engineering partners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to GenAI-powered features and AI-driven data discovery and analytics workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of data engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and operating large-scale business intelligence data structures using OLAP technologies, SQL, Oracle, and ETL or ELT processes.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Preferred experience with AWS Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
- Preferred experience with non-relational databases or data stores, including object, document, key-value, graph, or column-family stores.
- Preferred experience with Apache Spark or Elastic MapReduce.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
