Responsibilities
- Participate in prioritization discussions with product and business stakeholders.
- Own delivery tasks across design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation.
- Develop high-performing, scalable backend software and understand end-to-end technical architecture and dependencies.
- Drive technology standards, frameworks, code quality, testing, and automation practices.
- Conduct demos and acceptance discussions with product owners.
- Mentor and guide new and less-experienced team members.
- Identify process improvements and promote reuse of patterns, libraries, and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, DevOps, cloud-native application design and deployment, and automation testing.
- Experience with cards and payments, including settlement, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Deep knowledge of software development processes, including agile processes.
- Experience with quality initiatives, automation, and code quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to guide others toward effective solutions.
