Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall architecture of the generative-AI healthcare SaaS platform.
- Lead development of core platform services and their integrations.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using engineering best practices.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation with the team.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead directing the work of others.
- Production-scale experience with a generative-AI application or platform.
- Expert Python proficiency and solid TypeScript or Java skills, plus some experience with Go or Rust.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Expert experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and solid understanding of Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Eight-plus years of relevant industry experience is desirable.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other AI/ML platforms and frameworks is desirable.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure, significant GCP experience, frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and healthcare-industry experience are desirable.
