Base Salary
$145k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops and define functional and technical architectures for AI-powered document processing and authoring solutions.
- Design and configure document ingestion, extraction, validation, human-in-the-loop review, authoring, retrieval, prompt, citation, and content lifecycle workflows.
- Design and oversee APIs, automation workflows, data mappings, and integrations between AI platforms and enterprise applications.
- Define and execute functional, integration, user acceptance, AI output, prompt performance, and failure-scenario testing.
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering and delivery teams while managing dependencies, risks, milestones, stakeholder communications, and release planning.
- Support production operations through monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, runbooks, deployment readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with security, privacy, compliance, and governance teams on authentication, authorization, access control, auditability, data retention, and information security requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise application delivery, or platform implementation.
- Experience designing and implementing AI-powered document processing and content generation solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, cloud technologies, APIs, and systems integration.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, workflows, and solution designs.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI output validation, and enterprise content management.
- Experience across software development lifecycle activities including design, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS cloud services, AWS Bedrock, FastAPI, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, relational databases, vector databases, and PGVector.
- Preferred understanding of semantic search, embeddings, retrieval architectures, contextual AI systems, document management, knowledge management, and enterprise security or compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading global implementation projects and distributed technical teams is preferred; Life Sciences, Healthcare, or regulated-industry experience is a plus.
