Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and services in Go.
- Design and deploy distributed systems and secure gRPC and REST APIs in production.
- Work with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases for querying and storage.
- Deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes using Helm charts and the Kubernetes API.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and system evolution.
- Maintain code quality, observability, reliability, and maintainability through reviews and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with platform, machine learning, frontend, and other cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive initiatives to improve code quality and system performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing production systems in Golang.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying distributed systems and APIs in production.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with containers, Helm, and microservice design patterns.
- Experience improving software quality through unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and clean code principles.
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience collaborating effectively with frontend developers and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: understanding of modern DevOps workflows and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred: experience deploying or serving LLMs or GPU workloads using tools such as vLLM or KServe.
- Preferred: experience tuning and scaling machine learning inference pipelines.
