Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable analytic and AI-driven applications for regulated FX trading venues.
- Build production-grade systems that combine data engineering with modern AI and LLM frameworks.
- Integrate LLM providers and Snowflake Cortex functions and services into production solutions.
- Understand and contribute to existing Python codebases using sound software and functional programming principles.
- Maintain rigorous quality standards through unit and integration testing, including mocking.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders and engineering teams on high-profile projects.
- Contribute to Agile Scrum processes and support scalable cloud-based analytics capabilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- 3+ years delivering application solutions, ideally using big data technologies.
- Strong Python development experience building production systems in cloud environments.
- Experience working with big data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM engineering, agentic AI, and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex, including AI/ML pipelines using Cortex functions and services.
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM providers into production systems.
- Knowledge of Snowpark, AWS Lambda, Terraform, Oracle, Hive, Git, continuous integration, and deployment tools.
- Experience with unit and integration testing, mocking, Linux, and bash or Ruby scripting.
- Knowledge of embedding models, vector search optimization, and LLM observability or monitoring tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and product stakeholders.
- Understanding of FX financial markets is desirable.
