Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and maintain resilient distributed cloud services.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, system design, and problem-solving skills to complex, large-scale environments.
- Work with microservices-based architectures, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and serverless systems.
- Collaborate effectively across teams and organizational boundaries and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Meet Microsoft Cloud background check and other applicable security screening requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals, distributed cloud services, and large-scale systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to pass required Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screenings, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- The role is a full-time Microsoft position with a U.S. base pay range of $119,800-$234,700 per year, with different ranges for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
