Base Salary
$85k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, test, and release firmware for Azure custom AI silicon programs.
- Develop and test firmware on pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms.
- Collaborate with silicon, hardware, architecture, software, and firmware teams to deliver secure, production-grade firmware.
- Participate in and drive SoC bring-up and troubleshooting.
- Support silicon deployment and operation in Microsoft datacenters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant field, or a bachelor’s degree plus two or more years of technical engineering and coding experience, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Python, embedded Rust, Rust RTOSs, and associated toolchains.
- Experience with SoC bring-up, firmware validation, embedded systems, test planning, debugging, and automation.
- Experience working in pre-silicon environments.
