Responsibilities
- Define COS architecture principles, standards, patterns, target architecture, and roadmap.
- Own the cloud-native microservice architecture with responsibility for availability, scalability, performance, and security.
- Enable AI capabilities for observability and telemetry, including anomaly detection, failure prediction, and automated root-cause analysis.
- Promote observability by design and guide implementation using OpenTelemetry standards.
- Establish data ownership across sources and ensure adherence to SRE standards for stability and high availability.
- Partner with Service Operations on SLA follow-up and drive security, compliance, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
- Lead a global team and communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- At least eight years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience designing cloud-native system architectures and hands-on knowledge of much of the COS technology stack.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Strong security mindset with the ability to embed governance, risk, and compliance into architecture and delivery.
- Ability to translate complex stakeholder needs into clear architectural decisions and communicate their rationale.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is preferred.
- Ericsson experience is a bonus.
