Java Fullstack Software Engineer III - React / Oracle
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java and React full-stack applications across front-end and back-end layers.
- Build and maintain event-driven microservices and Apache Kafka data streaming pipelines for real-time enterprise processing.
- Integrate AI Copilot and generative AI capabilities into workflows and user experiences.
- Develop and optimize data access layers and queries across Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready software.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering standards.
- Resolve performance bottlenecks, system vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
- Support deployment pipelines and continuous integration and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Java for back-end development, including API design and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience building responsive front-end applications with React.
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven, real-time data streaming architectures.
- Experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or PostgreSQL, query optimization, and schema design.
- Ability to work in agile cross-functional teams and deliver software iteratively.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the full stack.
- Preferred experience with AI Copilot or generative AI capabilities, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, financial services systems, and monitoring or observability tools.
