Responsibilities
- Develop new features for new customers and support existing customers.
- Design and develop high-quality, testable, scalable software solutions within established timelines.
- Build and support automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites.
- Mentor and coach junior developers in full-stack development and software delivery.
- Assist with scoping, planning, and tracking complex software development projects.
- Lead technical and design discussions with developers, managers, product owners, and designers.
- Assume technical leadership on projects and participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
- Follow applicable security policies and secure software development processes.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience developing web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with full-stack development across the presentation, logic, and server layers.
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment.
- Experience with Java and either React or Angular.
- Familiarity with SAS Viya and the SAS language.
- Familiarity with SAS Visual Investigator.
- Familiarity with Postgres, Oracle, or SQLServer.
- Familiarity with Python or Go.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Github Enterprise and Gerrit.
- An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the stated qualifications.
